"The Two Rennes"?
Anyone interested in the mysteries of Rennes-le-Château will also know about Rennes-les-Bains. They are often called the Two Rennes.
This may have began when the sign saying the same thing in French - Place de Deux Rennes - appeared in the main square of Rennes-les-Bains.
But really it is because Rennes-les-Bains is twinned with Rennes in Brittany, not with Rennes-le-Château!
Rennes-le-Château became well-known for its priest and its hidden treasure, and the visitors there became curious, and explored the region, and discovered Rennes-les-Bains and another famous priest. Now the two villages are a focus for tourists, treasure seekers, for the spiritually enlightened, for lovers of the sacred geometry of the region and those who adore Mary Magdalene.
